Over the winter, all of the copper power cords that are used to electrify the festival grounds were stolen from a storage trailer.
Police are investigating the incident and the festival board is currently working to determine a replacement cost, but initial estimates are approximately $40,000–$50,000. The festival does not have the funds to replace this equipment. Our insurance policy includes liability, but does not cover this type of incident.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in an effort to raise the funds we need to replace the cords. Additional fundraising events are already in the works and will be announced in the coming weeks.
